JIGSAW APPEAL

As Patron of the Jigsaw Appeal at the Royal Bournemouth Hospital, I try to raise the profile of their fund raising activities as much as possible.

The Jigsaw Appeal aims to raise £1 million in order to extend and improve the facilities in the hospital’s Haematology and Oncology Unit.  The Appeal wants to resolve the existing space pressures and enhance the wards so that patients with cancers and blood disorders can get the space and privacy they deserve.

I have made representations to the Minister at the Department of Health to try and get extra funding for the Unit and I recently took part in their Grand Draw and presentation at ASDA.
