I have been a member of the Executive Committee and the Finance & Audit Committee of the CPA since 2004.  I have also assisted the CPA in reforming the pension scheme for their staff.

The Commonwealth Parliamentary Association U.K. Branch is one of 150 branches of the Association.  Its membership is made up of members of the U.K. Parliament, both from the House of Commons and House of Lords.  It provides the opportunities for U.K. Members of Parliament to liaise with their fellow parliamentarians throughout the Commonwealth in a number of different forums, including seminars, conferences and parliamentary visits.

It also provides a point of contact within Westminster for Commonwealth parliamentarians visiting the United Kingdom.
