BOURNEMOUTH WEST M.P. HELPS SCOUTS TO CELEBRATE THEIR CENTENARY

Bournemouth West M.P, Sir John Butterfill, recently helped the Scout Association to celebrate 100 years of scouting at the House of Commons.
John attended a reception at the House of Commons to mark Scouting’s Centenary Year 2007. One of the highlights of the year will be the World Scout Jamboree for 40,000 Scouts from over 200 countries at the end of July which is being hosted by the U.K. at Hylands Park, Chelmsford, Essex.
John himself belonged to both the Cubs and Scouts as a boy.
