BOURNEMOUTH WEST M.P. SPEAKS AT TALBOT AND BRANKSOME WOODS RESIDENTS ASSOCIATION AGM
Bournemouth West M.P., Sir John Butterfill, attended the Annual General Meeting of the Talbot and Branksome Woods Residents Association on Thursday 15th February.
John spoke to the residents about planning issues in Bournemouth and, in particular, the difficulties arising from the proposals for Bournemouth being imposed by the South West Assembly. He said that it was very important that decisions relating to Bournemouth should be made by local residents and not by an unelected assembly in Exeter. John then answered questions on this and other subjects for about half an hour, following which he joined the Chairman and other Officers and Members of the Residents Association for dinner at the Queen’s Hotel, Bournemouth.
